Late Start

Well, this holiday sleeping thing is not going well at all. H awoke crying, just as we were going to go to bed (she must be able to sense it!) and was up for hours. We eventually got to bed at 4am :( Holidays don't seem to be as chilled out as they were pre-toddler!

So hubby made some brunch, and we lazed about the apartment and took turns at reading books on the lovely balcony. It was a bit cloudy so we were in no rush to get out. Eventually, late afternoon, it brightened up, and we made our way down to the beach. It really is a lovely, peaceful beach with nice white sands and turquoise waters. H absolutely loved running free on the sand and burying her feet in the sand. It was her first time at the beach and it was very funny watching her testing the sand out with her feet, and watching them sink into the wet sand at the water's edge.

We went to a local cafe/restaurant for dinner and H and I shared a tuna pizza!
