Cheep, cheep

I went to visit a friend today who's been in hospital. She keeps chickens and ducks and keeps me supplied with the most delicious duck eggs. She suggested a walk up the paddock to see the hens and off we went. Why oh why did i not take my camera ... the peacock was in full display and when she lifted one of her chickens it was sitting on a nest full of chicks ... and they did indeed say "cheep, cheep"!

This was an emergency blip taken at about 10 to midnight when I remembered that I hadn't taken any pic.
