Except incest and morris dancing

This is a classic view in Lewes, much painted and photographed by those seeking to capture the setting of the castle atop the hill and the houses and cottages cascading below to the Paddock.

Sadly it has become a cliched image locally and I've said to myself I'd not blip it.

But heading home from work on Friday with magnificent sun and skies above I looked across from the Avenue and it was too good to miss.

I guess that once in every Lewesian blip foto album this has to be shown. And then we can move on.
