Pulp Fiction?

As far as I'm aware, no one wore this hunk of metal up their ass. But it does have a bit of history.

This is, after some research, a standard issue world war two American infantry watch. It was part of their kit and some American came over to Europe with it on his wrist.

Somehow, during the course of the war, it ended up in the hands of a German. It was from this German, that a wee man from Glasgow got it when he captured him as a prisioner of war. It was the done thing to pass your stuff on, even to the enemy and thats how many people ended up with their memento's.

The watch and his medals where shoved in a drawer when he came home and never seen the light of day for about 50 odd years. I've put a new strap on it and it still works. First turn to wind it up and away it went.
