Complaint to be made...

I've just been up my local skatepark taking a closer look at the absolute pigs ear that the contractors made of the improvements we planned.

What happened was, we (the skateboarders) organised a few meetings, organised some funding from some government grant scheme and drew up some rough plans of what we would like done.

These plans then went to the council where one of their architechts drew this up into an AutoCAD drawing based on the original plans detailling how everything should be measured up.

The contractors came along and then it looks like they started out with almost good intentions, they then decided, ah bugger it, and discarded the plans altogether.

The result is that the first part they did is still in one piece but the transition is far from perfect. The rest of them have fallen apart and had to be ripped out because they didn't follow basic concrete laying principles.

I think I may go direct to these contractors themselves and complain.
