Emergency

A few of us took part in UK Uncut's Emergency Action today in Brighton, contrasting the continued tax avoidance of banks and high street retailers with the drastic cuts being imposed on the NHS.

It was a fun day out, and everything was very peaceful and good-natured until we reached Topshop, when these hired thugs (aided somewhat by the previous friendly police) decided that a spot of roughing up was what these pesky protesters needed. No one was seriously hurt, but it was an unpleasant interlude.
