I went there today, with a bunch of campaigners from Coldharbour in Surrey, to attend a planning hearing concerning an application for oil exploration in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Thankfully, the application was rejected mainly due to the road damage and traffic chaos that were likely to be causedÃ?. But the company may appeal.
