This seemed like good advice to me.

The weather for Maresfield fete wasn't perfect - but at least it didn't rain until early evening and most of it was over and done with by then.

Strangely this wasn't the most peculiar statement I heard today. When you have kids you find yourself saying things that you never imagined you would ever say. Just this evening I heard my wife utter the phrase 'Don't eat that poppet, I've just wiped your nose with it.' :0)
