I Now Pronounce You Husband and Wife

Congratulations to the Happy Couple - Sharon and Craig.

This was the reason we came to Santorini - to see these two guys finally tie the knot. Sharon has been Emma's best friend for 25 or so years, and Sharon has been with Craig for 10 or so years. So, it was really nice to join them on their happy day. The wedding took place at Santo Winery, on the hilltop between Perissa and Thira. In a nutshell, it was a lovely wedding, in a glorious setting with excellent company. I can only moan about one thing - the official photographer getting in my way. But then, thats what they are paid for.

The meal afterwards took place at a local taverna down on the beach - plenty of good food and greek wine followed by something resembling greek dancing. Megan slept through the lot, until she woke up bewildered at all these strange, drunken faces dancing round the pram!

All in all, an excellent day and one of the highlights of the holiday!
