The Ghetto

This is the view from the window of the living room in my flat. I was watching this trendy Dad/big bro and the little long haired boy play basketball. So Cute! The tree on the right is a casualty of the Tornado like weather we had last week.

This park is bouncing with activity every night. The kids round here are from all over the world (it's the most multi cultural area of Glasgow) and they don't have Nintendo Wii, Playstations etc so they play the old fashioned way. In the park! I like that it's a transient area but it isn't without it's problems. I love that I am opposite the park, I lived in New York for a while and it reminds me of the community parks that are all over the city there.

It's the 1st of June, here's to the long summer nights!
