Bygone Era

I was clearing out some stuff this evening and came across my old watch which has unfortunately stopped and needs a new battery, and a travel bag I keep for special travel occasions. The watch on the bag hints at a time when air travel seems to have been much more relaxed and fun. Contrast that with the hustle and stress of modern airports these days.

Hey ho - it was just a clear out to make room for some stuff bought for this years hols but will need to wait to Sept before digging out the travel bag again. It's something to look forward to though.

We'll be going for a long weekend to Wester Ross later in June so that will be a nice wee early summer break. We were there last year at this time and enjoyed some brilliant weather.
