Santorini Day 1
An early start this morning for the journey to Santorini. I dont need to bore everyone with all the intricate details or passing throuhg an airport. Needless to say, we only had five minutes to look at the duty free despite the early start. Some would say thats not a bad thing.
Anyway, we arrived at the hotel mid afternoon and had a good look around before meeting up with friends. Oliver's friend Owen wanted to show Oliver where the beach was and where he saw our plane coming into land. He had already been out here for a week already as mum and dad were getting ready for their wedding. Needless to say, he really enjoyed the company of another child apart from his own younger brother.
As can be seen, most of the beaches are made of black sand, due to volcanic eruptions many years ago - should make it interesting for building sandcastles!
