Adolescent Robin

I've been clearing around the greenhouse whilst looking for the frog that "lives" inside. I "took" him in camouflage yesterday- but could only publish one photo so thought I'd track him down again today. He was there but not in the right position. Never mind, this lovley young robin was most obliging. I have never been so close to one before. I sat on an upturned flower pot to take the photo. At times he hopped right between my feet. I am sure he would have eaten out of my hand had I had a worm to hand had not been fully occupied with the camera. I took lots of photos but like this best because the background contrasts with the plumage and the flower pot gives a sense of proportion.
