New Timetable

East Coast's new timetable has completely changed our journey south. Perth to York, with an eight minute changeover for York to Stevenage with a fourteen minute changeover for our final train. Our first train at one point was quarter of an hour late, but managed to catch up, so okay at York. The second train was about ten minutes late at Stevenage and as a suburban train drew in just as we got off our train we dived onto that - Big Mistake - It wasn't our train - Non-stop to Finsbury Park - Ooops.

Many thanks to the various ticket inspectors and platform staff that got us sorted eventually at no extra cost, in the end we only "lost" forty minutes, but gained a bit back when we met Gerry at the station and he gave us a lift home - thanks Gerry.

PS we're going to the Olympics - one session out of eleven applied for.
