Robert Burns Scotland's national poet, wrote a poem after visiting the Birks over 200 years ago, did sit on the seat he sat on but no poetic thoughts came to me....

It is a lovely walk if fit enough to go right round, lots of birds singing & lots of of views to take also the smell of the wild garlic..

Think I will fill boot of car with leaf mould, lots of it around...but afraid there will not be any room to squeeze in a poly bag!!!!!
