Batting Practice

Tonight the Mariners played the Baltimore Orioles and we got there early enough to watch the Orioles taking batting practice. Not the clearest shot but it was from far away and the best i could get in the low light and hand held conditions. Here the Orioles batting practice pitcher is winding up and letting one rip.

It was a very exciting game ....we were behind until the bottom of the 8th inning when with 2 out and 2 on our first basemen his a home run putting us up 3-2. In the top of the ninth our closer shut down the Orioles and we went home triumphant.

We don't usually go to night games on work nights but Big R was given two free tickets from a co-worker so we couldn't pass that opportunity up. It's expensive to go and this was really super! I missed hearing my son's radio show from Spokane, but what a wonderful mid-week break from the usual routines:)

I liked this one because of the motion captured even if it wasn't the best of the shots I got! Happy Hump Day tomorrow!
