The Show Goes On

I'm going to miss track a lot. It's a bittersweet feeling sitting here and typing right now. I won't have to practice so hard anymore, freeze in March, and bake in the sun in May, but I'll miss the adrenaline of racing, taking on every racing and injury challenge, and all the good times with teammates turned lifelong friends. Today's invite was at Farmington. I got 5th with my shuttle hurdle relay and 4th with my long jump relay, giving me one medal. After my events, I was able to relax, eat good food, cheer, share good laughs, and take good pics. The sunset was beautiful. A perfect ending to a memorable career.
