Dylan Thomas's Boathouse

Perhaps Laugharne's most famous resident was Dylan Thomas who lived here in the boathouse from 1949 until his death in 1953.

This shot of the boathouse was taken from my canoe while paddling on the River Taf (Afon Taf). One major advantage of an inflatable canoe is that you can take it anywhere, and I was sure to take it on our trip to Wales.
