bursting forth in bloom

was out in the early morning light... surprised to see already a couple of red rose buds beginning to burst through... what joy and expectation. it's like they know they're late in the season and need to make up for lost time...

then rushed off for my headache/nerve procedure ... marvelous drugs that are still in play so i'm a bit loopey and only posting... will then go back to bed. it's odd - i feel like i have half a head and it's sort of "out of body" due to the injection they gave me. if this is successful, the doctor will be able to go back in and burn the nerves that are causing the worst pain and headaches... yay! so we'll see - there has been some reduction in the pain for which i'm grateful and hopeful then that this may be a first step in managing what i've been dealing with. that makes for a
