Riot in a Bottle

My friend shelled out £240 for this work of art by James Cauty at tonight's private view of A Riot in a Jam Jar. The exhibition mainly consists of small jam jars containing 1/87th scale re-enactments of recent English riots. The jar pictured here shows the incident of a student chucking a fire extinguisher from the roof of Millbank Tower during the anti-fees demo. Another jar showed the fire extinguisher landing on a policeman.
I wanted to buy a larger jar showing a small group of extremists being "kettled" but that was too pricey at £6,500.
