Found a dollar in a drawer today. It must be a left over from last year's trip to the states. I guess it's as good an excuse as any to make sure we go back and spend it.

The bit in focus is the Eye of Providence (or the all-seeing eye of God) which can be traced back to Egyptian mythology. It is surrounded by the words annuit coeptis which can be translated as he approves.
