This is the community art version of balloons on the gate post - there was to be a meeting, and this was to let people know where.

The first of the cruise liners appeared by the Bridge this morning and I had a blip of that in the beautiful morning light. After work I tottered up to the station to collect my train tickets for the next 2 work trips, and came back via the steps down to the Hawes Inn, near where the passengers from the liner come ashore. A couple of my neighbours were sitting people-watching outside the pub with a drink, so I sat and chatted to them for a while and people-watched with them. On the way back home for my tea, I came across this community art 'balloon'. I was just getting my camera out to blip it, and the man popped out from his garden to tie it firmly to the bush behind. I got to go into his garden and see more of the mosaics and figures.
