There's No Place Like Home
After an anniversary weekend, we arrived home to a backyard bouquet of roses. The bushes are blossoming like crazy.
There's no place like home, but without the three pooches, it's lonely!
We left Ventura about 9:00 a.m., stopped in Old Town Pasadena for breakfast and were home by noon. We, however, are disappointed that we cannot retrieve the pooches from the kennel -- that's because it is a family run facility and they close on all major holidays (we knew that before we left them there on Friday), but we still would love to bring those little furry family members home. We miss them and we're sure by now they think they have been abandoned.
Tomorrow morning when the entrance gate opens to Kenner's Kennel, Mr. Fun will be right there waiting to claim our three. Then the licks and barks at "Funville" will resume.
It's been a good weekend and in less than two weeks, the college semester will be history! But tomorrow is my last meeting with my Tuesday students, so now I need to make sure everything is ready. So I better get!
Good night from Southern California.
