volcanic formations with lupines -Sibley Volcanic

These are volcanic flows from when Roundtop blew its top 10,000,000 years ago. The black rocks are basalt; my understanding is that the reddish ones formed from ash. There were 4 other calderas that blew up in this area around then. And yes, those are silver lupines in the foreground.
