Stonehenge - Drive by Blip, Bank Holiday Monday
Returning from a wonderful weekend in Devon, there was a huge amount of bank holiday traffic. So with sat nav in hand we went off cross country via Glastonbury and on the A303 past Stonehenge. Chucking it down with rain in a very British way we whizzed past Stonehenge to find die hard tourists looking around this incredible site.
The stone shapes are iconic and I love that even the weather doesn't put people off looking around this amazing site. In a few weeks it will be the summer solstice and Stonehenge will be packed with loads of people celebrating this special time of year.
I wish we had had time to stop, maybe next time.
