Explosion @ 04:10!!

We woke up to a big bang at 04:10 this morning!! We were sure it could not be an intruder since our alarms were activated and nobody can gain entrance without setting off the alarms!! C&R snr inspected the whole house, upstairs as well as downstairs, while I waited at the top of the stairs with the panic button in my hands!! They checked for fallen paintings, nothing!

They only discovered the 'culprit' when they were preparing breakfast at about 06:30!! I soaked sugar beans for soup in a plastic jug with a non-sealing lid, but apparently the lid got stuck to the jug, and with the beans swelling too much for the container, it just simply exploded on the kitchen counter!! Eisch!! Quite funny, actually!! ;-)

GOOD NEWS ON CECILE!!! She 'woke up' today, 14 days after her accident!! Communicates by nodding her head or rolling her eyes! She definitely recognised her dearest daddy, Francois as well as Hannelie, and they asked her whether she would like music in her ICU room, and she nodded 'yes'! They asked her whether she had pain in her feet and legs, she shook her head for 'No', when they asked where she had pain, she moved her head to the one side, to indicate pain on the other side of the head!! Praise the Lord!! We can't really describe the joy this has brought to many people's lives!!

Little Johan is still critical though! They transported him, by helicopter ambulance to the Garden City hospital in Mayfair, Johannesburg, where the facilities are top notch, he is in his own private room in ICU there, his medication was changed and he seems somewhat better now, uses only 60% oxygen as opposed to 100% up to this morning!!

Please don't stop praying for either of them!! They both still need our prayers desperately!!
