Tea for two

Today I took my dad for afternoon tea at the Caledonian hotel: a very overdue birthday treat. And very fancy it was too. A veritible feast of sandwiches (who knew they could come so small?), scones and delicate sugary perfection in the form of cake, pastry and more cake. It was very nice to have my dadio all to myslef and am now thinking that we should make this a more regular treat.

Tonight I watched a bit of Titanic. I remember being in my last year of primary school and being amazed by it, now it's hard to see what the appeal was.
