Beach Wedding

Back in Zihuatanejo and back at Playa La Ropa. We missed the beach tremendously while traveling into the mountains, but we had forgotten just how hot and humid it is this time of year in the tropics. We couldn't move too far from our complex's fans or pool until late in the day, when I went for a walk on the beach.

This wedding was taking place at the far northern end of La Ropa, where many locals come to play soccer and swim by the rocks. I am sure the bride didn't plan on all the extra "guests", like the guy in the foreground or the people walking by, when she planned a sunset, beach wedding. I wonder how hard the photographer in the upper right had to work to get shots of just the wedding party without any uninvited people in the background.
