Carnival and Owls

Today is our 58th Soham carnival, and the heavy horse show.
There are the stalls run by local groups, Scouts, Guides, the two schools in the village, St Johns ambulance, Air ambulance and many others.

The floats parade from one end of the village to the other with the carnival princess leading the way.

This little owl and others were on display by the local raptor group, they usually advise people with small dogs to stay back from the owls, its not because the dogs will go for them, its because the big owls will try and go for the dogs!

Inside the gounds are also a display of vintage cars and moterbikes, lauren was standing next to an old american car, with her spoils from the tumbola.

We are now back home, as its looks like it might rain, but a good day was had by all.
