Raindrops keep falling on my head.

Out finishing off a river survey today so got a bit wet - not due to the rain though. Firstly it had rained and I was having to wend my way through stands of common reed that came up to my nose and then as I tried to cross a small burn the side of the bank I was standing on collapsed and I ended up standing in it with the water about 2 inches over the top of my wellies! Maybe this is telling me something but I prefer to think it was the recent heavy rain had cause d the bank to be undercut - well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
