Iris #1

Having a very quiet bank holiday Monday. There are lots of things I could and should be doing, but I've actually done very little. I have a mouth full of ulcers which is a warning sign for me that I need to rest and take proper care of myself as it's a slippery slope to a flare up of my Crohn's Disease otherwise. Having Crohn's doesn't really fit with my active lifestyle so I find these times very frustrating but I have accepted that to keep myself well it's something I have to do. Still I have plenty of Sophie's flowers to keep me occupied. I have a number of ideas for these irises so I have numbered them and hopefully they'll live long enough for me to photograph them all.
