Pine Cone

Light drizzle here all day. Brief interlude this morning so I went out to fill the bird feeders and pick up the fallen pine cones. I save them for my blipper friends in Sheffield; they have a wood burning stove and use the cones to light it, fills the room with a lovely pine aroma.
Still raining so decided I'd try some macro shots of pine cones. Much more difficult than I thought to get the perspective right. Ended up with this one, at least it looks like a cone.
