We were on our way out to Gullane today for Heather's birthday party on the beach. When we were just about there we got a call to say it was far too wild on the beach and it had been moved to Sam and Alex's house at Joppa. It wasn't a major problem, we were pretty much at Aberlady so paid my dad and Anne a quick visit then changed direction.

It was a good afternoon at Joppa and Jess was in good form.

After that we headed into town to see friends Dave and Sarah so we could book a break to Alton Towers with them in October.

From there it was on to see two other friends Adam and Sarah as we'd not seen their new baby Emily yet.

A pretty eventful day, finished off with MAds visiting her boyfriend in the chippy he works in and getting free chips (awwww, young love).
