Roman heritage trail

went on the second Roman Heritage Trail today with Jess from Destination Colchester - was fab and even more exhausting than the last walk which went around the Roman wall.


this is St Botolph's Priory...wouldn't usually walk in here as it is supposedly a destination for drunks but today was lovely! The Priory is early Norman and used bricks from the original Roman settlement in the town.
