Serin
As usual sat and thought about what I could blip. Took some shots. Sipped my tea.
Suddenly my blip appeared! We've been trying to catch these birds on camera for ages. They're coming round because there are a load of weeds on the roof of the wood shed. I've never been out there at the same time as the birds with my camera.
It took us awhile to decide these were serins. It was either serins or yellowhammers and the colour patterns around the eyes decided it.
Today they flew in and sat on our very sad looking lemon tree and actually posed for me! I was so excited my hands were shaking so excuse the quality.
PS The lemon tree is recovering, lots of new leaves and I think you can see tiny new lemons growing.
