Being short of funds last year and heavy of heart after a relationship break up, all I wanted to do was to take myself off alone and learn how to be a single unit again. I had no plan except to go and cook at Rick Stein's and just found things to do on the way.

3 conclusions. 1.Cornwall is stunning. 2. UK holidays are not that bad. 3. Holidays alone are actually better than with others.
