Buildings of Lyttelton

This morning we woke to a frost and then a blue sky and sunshine.
Time to meet the girls from our Lensbaby Group.
Went to the Port of Lyttelton, across the Port Hills from Christchurch.
Have not ventured through the tunnel up until now. Fortunately that was never damaged in the earthquakes.
Had a coffee together and a good 'chin wag'.
Had a look around the town at the empty sites where there had been some colorful buildings. Progress is slow everywhere.
These 2 buildings are still standing but have substantial damage, and you can see where the bricks have come from the parapet area.
The building in the foreground actually was the home and studio of 2 of our very prominent photographers.
You can see that they had a wonderful view out on the harbour.
