Lines and Patterns

Awoke to the ground white and crisp - Jack had paid a visit overnight!! It didn't take too long to disappear, giving us a premo day of warmth and sunshine.

Between us we have done 10+ hours of gardening, lots of pruning and clearing up dead leaves etc, laid some more straw, almost to the point where we can say "the garden has been put to bed for the winter". Picked a few late roses and bought inside so as to enjoy them.

Consequently, both Doug and I are walking around like a couple of staples, particularly Doug. We had hoped to go for a walk but I think we have had enough exercise for the day.

Three tail feathers make my blip for today, giving interesting patterns and lines.

The weekend is all but over, ironing to be done, then settle down and watch our Crusaders play The Reds - game being played in Brisbane......go Red & Black.
