Baby care

Today was all about learning about taking care of Baby!

Ron and I went to a class called "Baby Care Basics." This was our stand-in baby. We learned proper swaddling techniques, how to change a diaper (I already knew this one but first time for Ron!), how to clean/care for the umbilical cord stem and more. I thought this class would be somewhat pointless since I've been a fairly avid baby book reader, but I definitely learned some new things!

In the evening, I went to a breastfeeding class. Yet again, I was pleasantly surprised to learn quite a lot and I'm so glad I went.

Next week we have an infant CPR class and then I think we may be as prepared as possible to welcome the little one into the world.
