Wild Strawberry

It was a gorgeous start to our long holiday weekend ~ it's Memorial Day weekend in America. Hot temperatures and lots of sun. And I started the long weekend by not doing much at all ~ and loving that! Sat in sun, took photos, made Gazpacho and now blipping! Can't get much better than that.

While sitting on the front porch I noticed this wild strawberry growing all alone by the walkway. I knew the window of opportunity was going to be small for shooting this as I saw the neighbor and his dog, Chase, heading in my direction. Once Chase arrived the strawberry got a little trampled on, but the love he gives was worth it.
