It's been a while since I've been so excited for a weekend, let alone a long weekend!

Started off the weekend by stopping off at La Medusa for a glass of wine on the way home. Ended up getting spoiled and getting a couple of treats from the kitchen - and one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten - Mozzarella Burrata - it's a fluffy fresh mozzarella ball topped off with olive oil and served with grilled bread. YUM!

Made dinner at home - but it did take a lot of self control not to stay and eat at La Medusa. All the food smelled amazing. I love how each element in the salad dressing I made seemed to have it's respective space that it took up in the bowl.

After eating we hunkered down to watch the rest of the first Harry Potter movie (yes, I know, I'm about 10 years behind).
