Cornflowers and Camomiles

Went for a long unplanned walk far out of town and saw more fields with cornflowers than ever before.
One field had just as many camomiles. Their scent was very intense - I stood there for a very long time, enjoyed the scenery and just inhaled (and I did not feel sick at all!).
And I heard a cuckoo again - couldn't believe how lucky I was!

A good way to spent an otherwise uneventful afternoon and day.

Edit Mai 29th: Removed a tick on my leg this morning - fantastic. I havn't had a tickbite in years. I'm always very careful and check all clothes, body parts etc. after spending time outside. Yesterday I wore jeans, socks and good shoes for walking, but the little beast still managed to get a hold on me. And it had 14 hours to suck my blood before I removed it. Yuck. Now I need to watch the skin for irritations. Not eager for FSME or borreliosis.
