The crossing

Joe's team came up short in the tournament today - four games, one goal, one point. They still got medals though as nobody goes home without a prize. Another tournament tomorrow and a chance for some redemption.

Poor day all round with the news that Gil Scott-Heron had died earlier. I know he is uniformly referred to as the "Godfather of rap" but I've been playing a lot of his early stuff with Brian Jackson over the past few weeks and this is playing away in the background just now.

Hopefully things pick up with a great Champions League Final. Joe already has his Barcelona top on.
