'Weather warnings'

Unfortunately this picture doesn't do the weather justice. It was insane. Gale force winds, 15ft waves, people being blown over... it was wild, to put it mildly.

I actually really enjoyed being outside in it - probably because I could wear full waterproofs and fit in rather than looking like a numpty as I would have done in Edinburgh. It started to get more painful than fun though when the hailstones started.

Thankfully the people where I was staying were lovely and I had a very enjoyable afternoon learning to play chess with a 76 year-old man called Jim.
