Lighting 101

Still trying for that elusive Dan Winters look. I've dropped Photoshop as I think that overprocessed stuff, while fun, is distracting. So, now it's intense lighting practice to try and get things as best as they can be "in camera". In this example I'm using an umbrella and a gridded speedlight. Only adjustments are to white balance, contrast and saturation
