Humpty Dumpty
That's what my wee gran's been in the last few weeks, Humpty Dumpty. But she's been put back together again. Hurrah!
Out of hospital, on the mend and so very happy to be home. Tried to get a pic of her but she wasn't liking the flash going off in her eyes. So I got her hands and her three generations of gold band wedding rings. Hers, Edith's and Lottie's - my foremothers.
Tonight I asked the questions and she told the stories. She loves to talk about random memories. She called her grandmother's brother and sister scroungers. And talked of a Mrs Davidson burning breakfast on a holiday to Saltcoats.
Then a quick late visit to see my squis and my rascal nephews - to be fair Olly's only three months old - too young to be called a rascal just yet. He's just gorgeous and he was liking my red indian chant.
4 days off now yeeeehaaa!
Over and out.
