My first charcoal

Was at art class tonight and decided to have a go at a charcoal drawing (on the teachers instruction!). This is the result. It's actually not a drawing per-se, I coloured in the background then rubbed out the lighter bits with a rubber. Apparently it's a good excercise to 'loosen me up' artistically!!

I have to say I really enjoyed it but ended up manky!
