Keep your eye on the crazy puppy kids....

Heee heeee! We found the swan and cygnets today. I was VERY excited. I pulled and pulled on my lead to try and jump in and play with them. Don't you think mum was clever to get this shot whilst I was pulling her all over the place!!

It was lovely along the river path again. When we got past the swans mum let me off the lead and I jumped in 3 times! It was FAB. The only thing that went wrong is that mum walked on and I suddenly saw a rusty old aerosol can floating in the river, so I LEAPT in without looking as I just knew that mum would like me to get it for her. Mum didn't realise I had gone in. She has been told to not always run back and get me if I don't come when first called. So she carried on, but I couldn't get out of the river. The bank was too high. Mum finally came running back to find me and had to climb down through the reeds to drag me out. I wasn't going to let go of that can though. No sirreee!

I was SOOO excited that mum rescued me that I jumped up, knocked her over and then was so excited that she was on the floor I rubbed myself all over her to dry myself off, hee hee. It was soooo funny. Although mum wasn't laughing at that point! I had to go back on the lead then, ooops!

Daddy was supposed to come on our walk with us but we waited, and waited, and waited, and waited but he was sooooo busy with work he couldn't finish early and come :-( I made sure I gave him a good damp cuddle when I got home though.

Tomorrow he promises that we will go on a family walk. Yippppeeeeee, that means I can play football with him!
