Stop to smell the roses

I said that things were calming yesterday....you can scrap that. The hospital called yesterday to say to say that J is going to have the operation to repair the hole in his heart in the next month or so. Personally, this terrifies me. Though, I know he needs it and his life (and ours) will be easier once he's had it.
E loves to pick flowers..these are from our garden...I think there are more in the house than in the garden!
The message of this blip is to stop and smell the roses....take stock of what you have and your blessings. Be grateful for them and appreciate the peaceful times as you have no idea when life will decide to test you!!
