This shot was taken from a favourite lookout just down the road from my place....a gorgeous spot where one can sit,meditate awhile,take in the view,and all is pretty good with the universe.....I was shooting into the sun,took some shockers,but thankfully this one give you an idea of how high it is up there (for ancient old Australia that is )......

While I was there along came a couple of dogs (a national park,hello,but there they were)...shortly after came their owners,hippies....I swear i thought I was having a flash back...bells on their ankles,dreds,smoking joints ,flowing clothes and flowers....and although I was a young child during the hippy era,I can remember the impression they made on me...(my influences were David Bowie,the Stones,Iggy Pop,Roxy Music and the Sex pistols...to name a few)....My jaw was open I'm sure....not disapproving,just funny...

When i got in2 the car to drive back there was an article on the radio about all the big rock stars who are turning 70 this year...some not with us...Dylan,Joni Mitchell,Aretha Franklin,Hendrix,and a whole lot more...How time flies...along with the clouds.
